TMJ Pain Relief Tip

After a fitting for a crown the other day I was left with TMJ pain so bad I could hardly open my mouth and could only take in minuscule amounts of food at one time- a heck of a way to lose weight! The pain was so bad that when I chewed anything on my left side I had to hold my face.

After 2 weeks of misery, these are the exercises given to me by a massage therapist and they work like a charm!

  1. Move your bottom jaw from left to right and do this several times a day.
  2. Press on the TMJ joint muscles and rotate, finish by a brushing stroke upwards.

I promise you that you will feel a great deal of relief and the relief is instantaneous.
