Soda Makers

These soda makers are without a doubt one of the best things I have bought our family in a long time. They save the expense of buying seltzer or mineral water, which we used to buy by the case. What’s more our garage is no longer cluttered with overflowing bottles which we have to take either to the store or the recycling center.

I have found that a cartridge lasts almost a year and we drink our home made seltzer on a daily basis. We just drink it plain, but for those of you with kids there is an accessory pack of almost any flavor under the sun including Cola. In our household where we try to eat and drink healthy, a dash of fresh fruit juice in a glass just before drinking does the trick.

We bought the Fountain Jet soda maker couple of years ago but the new Genesis soda maker is slightly better and more friendly design. Either will get you great tasting soda, and ours tastes especially good because we use a water filter to purifiy our water.

I routinely give soda makers as gifts and the recipients are uniformly thrilled and I make our own soda at the drop of a hat when we have parties much to the amazement and delight of guests. This is a product which is in my top favorites list- it just makes so much sense all around.
